The Business Analyst Consultant brings to life the next generation of business systems in project-driven industries and provides world-class service levels. This position plays a crucial role implementing the Adeaca PBA for our customers, transforming how they operate and resolving our customers’ most challenging project business issues.

Travel: 25%
Salary: $100,000+ DOE
Position Type: Full Time Employee, Monday – Friday business hours

Responsibilities

  • Direct and lead the implementation efforts of the Adeaca PBA (Project Business Automation) cloud software product
  • Guide and manage customers through the implementation process
  • Build relationships with key customer stakeholders, business departments and groups
  • Business analysis
    • Project process reengineering: Analyze and review customer project business processes and adapt to Adeaca PBA
    • Advise client on business process reengineering
    • Document process adaptations, organizational changes, and perform validation/sign-off with customers
    • Define and coordinate organizational change management activities to ensure client adoption of new processes
    • Quality Assurance
      • Process test case creation
      • Functional process validation
      • UAT support and guidance
      • Go Live readiness
  • Project management
    • Plan, direct, and co-ordinate activities to deliver strategic and/or transformative projects following a defined Project Management Methodology
    • Influence project outcomes
    • Prepare and present analysis, insights, and recommendations to assist with decision making
    • Manage projects adhering to agreed timelines to deliver on key priorities, dependencies, and business benefits
    • Identify and advise on project/program level decisions that influence significant project direction
    • Escalate decisions that cannot be resolved on the agreed governance path
  • Guide customers through implementation methodology

Experience Requirements

  • Project business background as a Project Controller, Project Cost Manager, Project Estimator/Accountant, PMO Director
  • Extensive knowledge of:
    • Cost breakdown structure
    • Estimation
    • Budget management
    • Change management
    • Cash-flow management
    • Estimate at Complete (EAC)
    • Earned value management
    • Revenue recognition
    • Subcontract management
    • Project supply chain
  • Project Scheduling
  • Resource and capacity management
  • Working knowledge of any ERP systems (ex. Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle) and Project Applications (Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Business system implementation and consulting experience with multi-million-dollar large-scale projects
