7 Challenges of a Project Business: Podcast

Our first podcast took a deep dive into the definition of Project Business and why identifying as a Project Business is critical to setting the foundation for expansion, growth, and profitability. Once you recognize your company as a Project Business, it’s easier to see how you can improve, structure your project business processes, and identify what solutions are possible to achieve success.

As we’ve mentioned in previous blogs, while productivity has continued to increase in traditional sectors such as Retail, Distribution or Manufacturing, productivity in Project Business has remained relatively stagnant.

While there are similar challenges to running a project internally for your company as opposed to executing the project as part of a Project Business, there are also major differences. One of them being that your entire company is organized within, around, or in support of the projects rather than just managing the odd project here and there. The impact of getting it right is much higher than if you just do the occasional one-off project.

By acknowledging the challenges of a Project Business, it’s easier to make the adjustments and take the necessary steps to be successful.
